Our small farm is home to cherished heritage animals, including Ancona Ducks and Dominique Chickens, all of whom are part of our family. To support our animals, we create handcrafted woodworks and artwork inspired by the slow, intentional lifestyle we love. Every purchase directly helps care for our older animals, giving them the comfort and attention they deserve. *All our animals are forever animals, and we keep them beyond their “productive” years. Ancona Ducks
With their unique, delightful markings and sweet personalities, our Ancona ducks are a cherished part of our little farm. Their gentle nature reminds us of the simple pleasures of farm life. Watching them happily splash in their pools and waddle over for their food, brings a special kind of warmth and joy to our everyday life.
Dominique Chickens
Our Dominique chickens are the ultimate farm comedians, always chatting with friendly banter and curious antics. Raised with lots of room to roam, these little feathered chickens are as happy as they are friendly. Tough, resilient, and always ready for a good peck at your shoelaces, they bring charm and character to our homestead.

Ancona Ducklings
2025 Availability
Ducklings are typically available from April to September. I do not ship eggs or ducklings, but I’m happy to coordinate a meet-up within the Bedford, VA area. Ducklings are sold unsexed and will be ready for their new brooder 1-2 days after hatching. If you’re interested in bringing home a duckling or have any questions, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help! Please note I will likely have some Drakes and Ducks available in Summer.

Heritage Animals: Our mission is to preserve and protect heritage animal breeds, such as the Ancona Duck and Dominque Chickens. We are dedicated to maintaining and reviving breeds that have been passed down through generations, often at risk of disappearing due to industrial farming practices. Heritage breeds are valued for their historical and genetic significance. Heritage breeds are typically hardier, more adaptable to various climates, and less reliant on intensive farming inputs
